Blessed Birthday to Mummy

  • Oct. 8th, 2009 at 11:52 PM

Thur 8 Oct 2009

Today is Mummy's birthday!  (so says daddy... after which I quickly hurried into the room and gave mummy a hug and wished her happy birthday)  Aurora followed and copied me too, wishing Mummy happy birthday and Mummy was delighted.

Mummy had a break in the afternoon to herself, having English high tea with Daddy at Goodwood Park.  They rushed back in the evening in time to take me to my Berries class.

After class, they picked me up (baby no. 3 came along too!) and apparently, they bought a cake (the famous Lychee martini cake from Pine Garden) just before coming and Mummy had a cake to celebrate her birthday.

Oops, someone is missing from the family picture!  Someone lying in her cot...

Let's bring the cake to her then, she's the new addition & like me, she arrived in time for Mummy's birthday!

That makes me realise birthday celebrations in our family (except Daddy) will all begin from Aug!

Aug- Baby no. 3
Sep- ME!
Oct- Mummy
Dec- Aurora

Exciting time towards the end of the year!   For now, happy birthday to my Mummy!  I am really enjoying the time you are at home now being on maternity leave.... ; )

My 6th Birthday

  • Sep. 28th, 2009 at 10:48 AM

Monday 28 September 2009

Happy 6th Birthday to me!  It's my special day Mummy says.  I am a lot more aware of the date and time now, since I am older, so I've been counting down to my birthday and looking very much forward to it, especially my birthday party on Sat 26 Sep at Explorer Kids.

It was really sweet of Mummy to plan a special party for me and she said because it's my last year in K2, after which my friends will all be going to different schools, so she really wanted to have a gathering and party for me.  It has been 4 good years in my kindy and I shall miss (actually it's mummy who really can't bear to see me "gradudate") my friends.

Blessed Full Month to our No. 3

  • Sep. 22nd, 2009 at 11:36 PM

Tue 22 September 2009

It's one month exactly since the arrival of my little sister, Natalie Antarctica.  Happy one month old, little sister!

We had a celebration for her full month over the long weekend on 20 Sep, we realised it was a pretty cool date - 20.9.2009.  Glad to have some friends and relatives over at our place.

I am enjoying having another little sister, often telling mummy how cute she is and I like her.  I pretty much can occupy myself most of e time.  Aurora also likes baby but she also gets v clingy to mummy and throws tantrums with her wailing over little things so she is going through a rather difficult phase.  Sometimes even i lose my patience with her!  :p  She messes up my games/toys. Grrr...

Just to share some pics of the party.

The "door gift" for our guests

Glad we remembered to capture shots of most of our dear friends & relatives, but we realised we forgot to take a family shot together!  Esp when we were wearing our matching T-shirts.  Well, we will make up for it & take one soon!

Baby No. 3

  • Aug. 24th, 2009 at 10:06 PM

What is better than having a sister?

Ans: ANOTHER sister!

The highlight of the month of August 2009, besides the 44th birthday of our country, it has got to be the arrival and birth of my new sister!

New sister (Baby no. 3) was born on Sat 22 Aug 2009 at 1722 hrs.
She weighs a good 3.49kg at birth, surprising Mummy and everyone.  Both me and Aurora were below 3 kg, never did we expect a sibling above the 3kg mark!  Wow.  Maybe that's why people keep commenting that Mummy's tummy is so big.

She is my chubby little sister and thank God for a very fast delivery.  Mummy went into the hospital at about 4pm and the baby was out at 5.22pm.  No epidural, natural delivery and yeah, a lot of pain for Mummy but thank God all was fine and quick and not too much of a panic.  There was time for Mummy to drive us to Grandma's house for lunch, wait for Daddy to come back from work, Gong Gong to be back to drive Daddy and Mummy to the hospital.  Mummy was just having contractions about 10 min apart then.  Though the nurse was very surprised when she checked Mummy and found her 6-7cm dilated!  She called Mummy a "silent labourer"!

Doctor came at about 4.30pm.  Broke her waterbag, put the drip on Mummy and VERY soon after, Mummy said the baby was coming already.  So active labour was less than an hour.  We welcome a new addition to our family.
We visited mummy at the hospital in the evening, and also spent most of Sunday in the hospital with Daddy and Mummy.  It was really good of little sister to be born on a weekend!

And her birth date is an even number too, just like me (28) and Aurora (20) and all of us.
Mummy (8) and Daddy (14).  hee.

It was fun to look back into the archives and find a photo when I first had my sister Aurora.

Red and White

  • Aug. 7th, 2009 at 9:51 AM

It's National Day celebrations at school today.  Mei Mei and I are dressed in white.

Lessons still go on as usual.  Unfortunately we cannot have a mass celebration like previous years due to the flu problem.  The celebrations are divided into the various levels - Pre-N, N, K1 and K2.

We do kind of miss our morning assemblies... because of the flu, we have not been having our assemblies since beginning of this term 3.

Looking forward to the long weekend!  Hope Mummy doesn't pop yet... we have a few "functions" on over the weekend, not bad to have a National Day baby I guess, but yeah, it's still a little bit early since it's just 36 weeks... meimei and I were born around 38 weeks Mummy says. : )

Happy National Day!
Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!

Sunday 26 July 2009 - baking & botanic

  • Jul. 31st, 2009 at 10:04 AM

After having seen many of other little friends going for the Bakerzin baking workshops for kids, Mummy has been wanting to bring me to one.

Finally finally, we made it to one.  My very first baking workshop at Bakerzin!

Mummy and her colleague signed up together, so I had Thad for company at the workshop.

We made Rocky Road Brownies and I enjoyed my workshop very much.  Mummy and Daddy said they enjoyed eating the brownies I made very much too!

Sunday 26 July 2009

It was en eventful Sunday, considering we left the house at 7.30 am that morning as Mummy was on duty in church to lead songs.  Then she had a ministry meeting before we rushed to UE Square for my baking class.  After my baking class, Daddy suggested we go to the Botanic Gardens as he wanted to show support for his school's band which is performing at the School Band Fiesta in the Gardens.  These are bands who got gold awards at the SYF.

We bought some snacks (chips and drinks) and had a simple picinic while we watched the various school bands perform.  It was nice since we have not been to the Botanic Gardens for some time.

Us & Baby S

  • Jul. 2nd, 2009 at 12:28 PM

A photo of me, mei mei and Baby Sophie, taken when we visited them again over the weekend.  Though it was school re-opening the next day & we should be getting home early and resting, Mummy said we had to go visit Baby Sophie since the last time we saw was in hospital and that was a week ago!  We really wanted to see baby again.

So there we were.... Sun 28 June

Guess what?
After going back to school for 2 days (Mon & Tue), Mummy received a call from our teachers on Tue night that the school will be closed for 2 weeks.  A teacher was confirmed with the H1N1 virus.

So it's like back to "june hols" for me and mei mei again... until 13 July when school will open again.
Pray we'll be fine.  So far we are ok.  Thank God.
God will watch over us.  : )

The zoo... at last!

  • Jun. 29th, 2009 at 11:42 AM

Mummy has been hoping to take us to the zoo... especially after they opened the new kiddy section- Kidzworld.  She was hoping that this could materialise in the June holidays.  Daddy still goes to school to work everyday in the holidays and Mummy has to wait till they have some time to spare.

Finally, we made it!  Thankful that we have a Saturday free on 20 June 2009, so off to the zoo we went!  Going on a weekend was not a preferred choice but well, it was the only day available for us so be it!  Anyway 20 June was a special day for my mei mei as she turned 2 and 1/2!  So there is a reason for some "celebration" and treat for us!

Sat 20 June 2009 - Outing to the Zoo

It was of course our first time at Kidzworld and I loved it!  I am not the adventurous type esp with water, so I do not go down the slides and get myself drenched by that gigantic bucket of water.  It took me a while before I warmed up and let myself go free and got myself all wet.  Similarly for my little sister, but towards the end, Mummy was glad to see us happily playing in the water and keeping each other company.

We did not get to see many animals as there was no time.  Mainly just the ones in Kidzworld.  We caught 2 shows (Splash! show and Rainforest fights back).  We also took the new boat ride.

Glad we made it to the zoo during our school holidays!

A cousin... at last!

  • Jun. 29th, 2009 at 10:52 AM

I have had the great honour to be the ONLY grandchild for both sides of Mummy's and Daddy's family for the first 3 years of my life.  I was the first grandchild born to our family and Daddy and Mummy always say how they cherish me as their firstborn that came so soon after their marriage and having me as the only child for the 3 years before my little sister came along.

Then at the end of 2006, my little sister was born and there were 2 of us!  Still, we were the only grandchildren for both sides of our families.

Now we are proud to say that since the day of 19 June 2009, we have another grandchild on Mummy's side of the family and it was a day to rejoice, the arrival of Baby Sophie (my jiu jiu's firstborn) on Friday 19 June.  We finally have a cousin!

Baby Sophie is small, born 2.615 kg, just like me and mei mei, who do not exceed 3 kg at birth as well!  Guess we are all small like the mummies, and it runs in the family.

Friday 19 June was quite a fun day actually, because Mummy and Daddy took the day off to spend time with us again.  We started our day accompanying Mummy on her pre-natal check up.  Mummy is about 30/31 weeks now.  She is starting to feel all tired again... esp having to still take care of me and mei mei when she's back from work.

Then we went to Ikea for our brunch and a bit of shopping.  It was there Mummy got the sms from Jiu Jiu that they were in the hospital already!  We eagerly waited for more news from that time onwards.

We got the news of baby's arrival towards evening when we were home.  We made our way to Parkway and had dinner.  After that, we picked up grandparents and went to visit our little cousin at Raffles Hospital.

Mummy is so thrilled she is an aunt!  It's her first time being an aunt (姑妈)!  She has a niece now!

We sure look forward to Baby Sophie growing up and join us in our play!

Wed 10 June 2009

As posted in mei mei's blog today, Mummy brought us to play at Fidgets on Wed.  I had a great time running around and playing in the ball pit, my favourite spot, because I love to see how you can put the balls into the suction pipe and watch the balls get sucked into the cleaning machine... anyway, it was great we had a chance to go out and spend time with Mummy.

Mummy only took pictures of mei mei and her friends and forgot about me...hehe.

After Fidgets, Mummy took us to United Square as she remembered they had the Ben 10 meet & greet so to make the day even more fulfilling for me, she thought she should bring me to see the Ben 10 Show.  I am not exactly crazy over Ben 10, but I do enjoy it a bit like other boys.  Daddy joined us at dinner and then it was time for the 7 pm show.  Mummy could see a bit of the show from the view of the restaurant.  Oh, I also got a Ben 10 digital watch... pestered Mummy to buy the toy but mummy refused.  She told me I can have the watch only, at least I can tell the time with it.

I enjoyed my day out with Mummy.  Hope there are other "meet & greet" sessions we can go to.  : )

June hols are here/Kindy Open House

  • Jun. 8th, 2009 at 2:59 PM

It's the June holidays again, but mei mei and I are home most of the time.  There's nothing much happening, except when Mummy takes leave for a day or two once in a while to take us out.  Hopefully we can make a visit to the zoo... but it's been so warm and Mummy wonders if she has energy with her big tummy to even walk with us... besides, it would help if there is some discount to the admission tickets... We are looking forward to the coming Wed, all thanks to a friendly mummy in mei mei's class, they have arranged a play date with some of mei mei's classmates.  Mummy is very thankful for such a date, she terribly misses those days where she had mummy friends & more time to go on play dates.

Last Friday 5 June, we had a day out when Mummy was on leave.  Daddy and Mummy brought me for my dental check up at NDC, it has been nearly a year since I last went and did all the major repair.  My robot teeth are all ok and I actually allowed the dentist to clean my teeth with the "machine" so that was really an achievement.  The very nice dentist was so kind to also take a look at mei mei's teeth and Mummy's fears were true, Mei Mei's molars are showing signs of decay.  Sigh.  But at least she is doing much better than me when I was her age.  She does brush her teeth with me every night and she doesn't drink milk to sleep like I did.  Well, if it has to happen, it has to happen though it's quite sad... hope her fate is better than mine since we discovered it early, unlike for me, it was so bad and I had decays all over already.

I was a good boy at the dentist so as promised, we went to see "Monsters vs Aliens" at Vivo City after that.  After the movie, Daddy and I both had our haircuts at EC House at Harbourfront.  Daddy and Mummy realised later they made me do the very 2 things that I was most frightened of when I was younger in just one day!  Dentist + Haircut!  *shudder*
wow... glad I am now older and no longer terrified (though still a little tensed) with the above "activities"!

Open House
Before the school holidays, my kindergarten was very busy preparing for the Open House on 23 May 2009.  We were busy trying to get our home projects done to be handed in.  We were assigned home projects to do using recycled materials with the help of our parents.  Of course mummy did most of the work for us, hehe, but we did help too.

Some pictures of my project + mei mei's project + Open House on Sat 23 May.

A new bicycle for me

  • May. 21st, 2009 at 12:11 PM

Thanks to Po Po.... I got a bicycle on 1 May.  The chains were not working too well so we got the bike changed on the next day.

I wonder when will I learn to ride with 2 wheels, but for now, I am thankful for this gift and I finally have a bicycle to ride on and especially when I go to Po Po's house which is near the beach.

My funny mei mei is having fun with my helmet.

When we were at Carrefour to buy the bicycle, there was some kiddy rides at Suntec.  Mei Mei and I went on the train and enjoyed ourselves.

K2 is preparing us for Primary One.

Sometimes we wonder how it will be like when I go to Primary One.  Mummy already feels "stressed" over my homework and spelling lists I have to learn.

Well, before K2, school was always just play and fun.  Mummy did not have to worry much.  This year is a little different really.  I will have pieces of homework sheets to do for weekends.  I started to have spelling lists to learn and I have English spelling every Thur.  This term, we started our 听写 (chinese spelling) too!  That is even tougher and my parents have to spend time to sit with me, encourage me and help me learn the words that I complain are so difficult.  hehe, i am still rather lazy in writing so learning those chinese words are difficult to me!  I also get to bring a little pencil box of my own to school, just to have a feel of what will happen next year.  I think some time later this year, we will be brought to the SAJS school canteen to try "buy canteen food"!  Just to learn some practical skills.

So every week, Mummy and Daddy has to take time to coach me with my spelling words and a lot more effort to coach on the chinese spelling.  wow, serious work!

Anyhow, it was a milestone for me when I had my very first spelling in Feb and it was quite exciting for Mummy to see how I fared.  So a backdated post of my "results" for memory sake.

I did badly for my last 听写 because I had to write 学校,上学,朋友,书包 and I only learnt the words the very night before the chinese spelling.  hee hee... the words were so tough for me!  We worked a little harder for this week's chinese spelling, started preparing earlier, and I am very glad I managed all the words and got all correct!  Very rewarding for Daddy too!  For all the effort he spent to help me learn those words... 爸爸,姐姐,妹妹,妈妈。

No. 3
On a side note, Mummy's detailed scan was very uneventful.  It was rather quick and nothing much was said.  Could not see the gender.  Oh well, maybe it's nice to have a surprise afterall and not know at all!  Sounds fun?  We don't really feel like knowing now... haha.  Thanks dear aunties for all the congrats and wishes in the previous post!  We really really appreciate them!

Books ordered online

  • Apr. 30th, 2009 at 9:30 AM

Finally, Mummy's order from Amazon arrived on Mon, 27 Apr.

Well, we have been borrowing some books from the library at times and found a few good books.  One book that mei mei really enjoyed cannot be found in the book shops here, so Mummy decided to order stuff online.  It's very cute how mei mei can recite the words from memory as you read to her the book she likes v much.

For me, Mummy is just thankful that although I did not seem to like reading when I was younger, she could never quite get me to "sit on her lap and read to me" like how books say parents should do with children...until much later, but now I do quite enjoy books and I am able to read a simple book by myself.  So most nights, mei mei and I will read some books before going to bed and we really enjoy that family bonding time.  Mummy is glad mei mei gets to start on that early, since she likes to copy what I do, including reading books at night!  Mummy has learnt that she does not have to worry too much about me taking to reading, because the time will come, and it has come finally.  Mummy is not a very avid reader herself so she doesn't expect us to really love reading, but yeah, we should all be encouraged to read, instead of watching too much TV!

Delighted to open the parcel with Mummy and Daddy and checking out the books Mummy bought.  Books that we have enjoyed from the library before and now we own some of them!

Mei Mei's favourite - My mommy & me
For me, I quite enjoy this book "Harvey the Carpenter" because it is a book about Harvey making a tool box and all the tools he has to use.
Daddy is proud of me, being able to read and identify all the names of the tools after reading the book... egg-beater drill, brace, saw, pliers, rasp, hammer, screws, nails, mallet, etc etc.  I am better than some of Daddy's sec one D&T students he says!  ha.

Of course, Eric Carle's books are always enjoyable and very good.

Feb/March into April

  • Apr. 24th, 2009 at 11:04 AM

Still hesitant about blogging here, which partly explains the long lag in posting since the last entry, besides Mummy being v busy with work & ministry in church & us.... but for the sake of jotting down some memories of my growing up, and for the very few interested who wants to read about me, well, we'll try to write something, though news may be very belated.  Anyway the blog is more for memory than for reporting on current affairs.

I think I can recall a few significant events over the last month to talk about.

Chinese Enrichment
I have never been enrolled into any form of enrichment, besides going for a few trials at various places when I was little.  Enrichment classes are too costly for us and Daddy did not feel it was very necessary.  I only started when I started kindergarten, as the classes were all conducted in the kindy.  Since K1, we have to pay for computer and gymnastics on top of the usual school fees.  Both activities I do enjoy.  Last year Mummy also signed me up for the Chinese immersion program (CIP), which took place after school hours.

Unfortunately, due to Mummy's carelessness in responding & some miscommunication, I was not given a place in this year's CIP.  We were really quite disappointed.  I was then put on the top of the waiting list.  Instead of just sitting and waiting for a place, Mummy decided to sign me up at Berries.  So that is really my first go at an enrichment class outside of school!

I suppose my folks are really getting worried at my pathetic command of the chinese language, with English being the main language spoken all the time, and given that my parents themselves are pretty fluent and well versed in the language, they felt it was important to encourage me in my learning of the chinese language.

Me at 百力果 (started my 1st lesson on 5 Feb)

Thankfully, since the start of the 2nd term of school, I was offered a place in my kindy's Chinese immersion programme again so we grabbed it!  Thus I now have 2 Chinese enrichment classes!  wow.  hehe, I think my chinese had better improve!

Island Holiday
Mummy grabbed the offer for locals at Sentosa hotels and booked us a getaway at Rasa Sentosa during the March holidays.  It was nice spending family time together.  Mummy felt it was tiring really, going "away" with 2 pre-schoolers though.  It was not so much of a "break" for her... as she has to take care of the packing, our meals, our snacks, our baths etc.  She couldn't be sure if we could still go anywhere in June... since she may get quite "big" by then... so for March, let's do it!  I think the last time I was at Rasa, my little sister was in Mummy's tummy
... I am thankful for a playmate now and I really enjoyed my time, especially I was quite brave to venture into the kids pool by myself and not so wary of water like before.
(Mummy loaded photos of Sentosa on Facebook, shan't post too many here)

Goodbye "xiao hong" (小红) and welcome "xiao bai" (小白)
Since our family is "expanding", and car prices were quite low after the CNY season, Mummy and Daddy decided it was time to say goodbye to "xiao hong" who has served us very well since 2005.

"xiao hong" is the name Mummy calls her little red car, right from her first car to her second, because both were red and hatch back (intentionally).

We have gone on long trips to Malaysia with "xiao hong" no. 2 and we have miraculously fitted huge items into the car though it is small (eg. X'mas tree, battery-operated toy car that I could sit in, kids desk+bench, TV console from Ikea etc)

Mummy took a picture of me and mei mei sitting in "xiao hong" on the last day we were going to school in that car.  We sure will miss travelling to school in little red car.  We will always remember  and dearly miss you, "xiao hong no. 2"... you have served us well!

With the farewell of "xiao hong", Mei Mei and I are delighted and welcome our new "xiao bai".  Well, "xiao bai" is not all that small,  we are thankful for a Wish come true!

I had the privilege to go along to pick up "xiao bai" with Daddy and Mummy on 28 March.

Family Expansion
Some LJ friends already know... probably there are some who do not... as I mentioned the point abt "family expansion"... just to share a little, that yup, I am going to be "promoted" again as a big brother... as we look forward to my sibiling No. 3 due in late August.  This is surely something exciting (and a little bit surprising, well, me & mei mei were def "surprises", but surprises that were very welcomed and thankful for!), so for the year of the OX in 2009... we are going to have a little moo moo for my daddy Moo!

We got to know of the "news" last Christmas (2008)... I think I'd like to have a didi, though either is really fine for my parents, well, Mummy says she is going for the detailed scan really soon & hopefully we'll know by then......

What's better news, Mummy is going to be an auntie for the first time!  She is more excited about the fact she will have a niece!  We are also looking forward to the arrival of my cousin, which is wonderful, finally a cousin!  So far, me and mei mei are the ONLY grandchildren for both sides of our family.  So, this year, Po Po and Gong Gong will have 2 new grandchildren!  One in July and one in August.

A photo of the 2 preggies taken just over the weekend when we celebrated Gong Gong's birthday at Clarke Quay.

Po Po pampered us again, buying toys for me and mei mei from the roadside stall at Clarke Quay after dinner .

CNY 2009 "Gong xi gong xi"

  • Mar. 13th, 2009 at 9:23 AM

Chinese New Year  came very early this year - 26-27 Jan were public holidays as they were the first 2 days of CNY.

年初一 - the usual visiting of relatives on Daddy's side, my great grandmas & ye ye & ma ma... then to gong gong and po po's house in the afternoon.

年初二 - For the FIRST time, Daddy invited his students to his house.  Indeed, loads of big gors gors and jie jies turned up at our place and it felt really festive to have our home SO noisy and packed.  Daddy probably gave out the most number of hong baos ever in his life.

年初三 - Mummy took another day's leave since mei mei and I had no school.  She took us to vivo city with Po Po.  After that we went to the Sentosa Flower show.  Aunty Grace came to join us with Perry and Percy, super of her!  Gong Gong also joined us so we had a nice time looking at flowers though it was quite hurried.  We only went into Sentosa in the evening, a bit of a pity since we were in Vivo since afternoon.  It was getting too late so we couldn't see everything.

Good times of 2008

  • Jan. 22nd, 2009 at 5:54 PM

The most enjoyable and memorable time of Year 2008 - time with our overseas relatives!

As mentioned in the previous blog, we did many many things together, even a trip together to Kuantan, Malaysia.  It was amazing, all of us, Gong Gong and Mummy drove their own cars.  Thailand Uncle brought his "mini bus" which he drove from south Thailand and that could take the UK family!

Just want to load some photos to remember the good times we had.  I hope Wai Wai and I can remember each other as we grow up, and one day, I hope I have the chance to visit England and go to Wai Wai's house to play with him!

Trip to Malaysia  )
It was really sad to bid them farewell at the airport.  Mummy was in tears.  Afterall, they were here with us for over a month!

We really hope to see you soon... hopefull Cousin ML gets to do her uni elective in our part of the world and pass through Singapore!  We'll take you shopping and feasting again!

a very belated post

  • Jan. 22nd, 2009 at 4:45 PM

The Chinese New Year is around the corner.  This post should have been written before the new year of 2009, but Mummy has no time, so let's hope we make it before the "new" year according to our chinese lunar calendar!

The post was meant to be for reflections for the year of 2008 and to refresh our mind on the very precious moments we shared in year 2008.

2008 was the year I finally had my decayed teeth fixed under GA.  Something major for me since it was the very first time I had to be in a "hospital" sort of place.

2008 was the year Mummy went for her first ever working trip to Laos in Jan.  And surprisingly, another working trip in Oct to Bangkok.  It was her very first time in both countries.  Daddy also had a chance to go for his first ever working trip to Guizhou, China in Jun.  And he went again, working trip to HK, in Dec!

2008 Mummy cut her hair short after  many many years of long hair.... and I no longer cry at haircuts so I can sit down by myself and get a haircut with no fuss... hehe.

2008 was the year I went to my 2nd church camp in June and mei mei's first time!

The most signifiant months of 2008 has got to be June and July and I have been wanting to blog about those months for the longest time.

Our dear relatives from UK came to Singapore for a vacation and for my Jiu Jiu's wedding.  So 2 major events that really made 2008 a very memorable year indeed.

1) Jiu Jiu's wedding
It was again (like mummy's wedding) a time of great reunion of Po Po's side of the family, this time, UK uncle brought his entire family of 6!  Aust Uncle came by himself and Thai Uncle also came with his wife.  Po Po and her siblings are all in different countries so when they all get together, it was a very cherished time.

So happy for Jiu Jiu that he found his soul-mate and we could share in his joy at his wedding.  Glad he was able to sing and play with his band at his own wedding and enjoyed himself.  And Jiu Jiu is on his way to be a daddy this year!  Wow!

2) Visit of our UK relatives
We had so much fun and memorable moments with our relatives from overseas.  We did so many things together.

- Night out at Clarke Quay and St. James Power Station (Mummy & her cousins of course, not me)
- Shopping trips to various malls in Singapore
- Chinatown
- Bowling
- Jiu Jiu's 30th birthday celebration at his house
- Cousins baked yummy lasagna!

- Showing Wai Wai my school

I had fun playing, and FIGHTING! with my "cousin uncle" Wai Wai (Mummy's cousin) who is about my age.  I will share the pictures we took together in the next blog!  We are glad to have each other as playmates!  Yeah even our names sound alike, they call me Way Way and he is Wai Wai.
